A Life of Riley was created by Rahul Kulkarni and Mitch Cetuk (guitars). Matt Melchione (percussion), Noah Herckey (vocals/percussion), and Ryan Majoris (Bass) were added late 2004. Not having much time before they went off to college, A Life of Riley hit the studio shortly after the band was formed to record their debue album "Loud Underneath." With an immediate response from the public, A Life of Riley almost deferred a year from college to tour, however, in the end did not. College has not broken the band up, just has slowed things down for the time being. The band is currently recording their second cd which they will expect to be finished between the winter of 2006 and early summer of 2007. With a bright acoustic sound, and a deep lyrical content, A Life of Riley will remind you of such bands as Guster, Nickle Creek, and Dispatch to name a few.
