Pictures in Pieces came together in the winter months of 2005 after drummer Chris Barrett left Stars Hide Fire to pursue a new project. He teamed up with longtime friend Stephen Lucas who had recently departed from his frontman position in Your Last Collapse. After putting some songs together they set out to complete the lineup. Shortly after the New Year they did just that with the acquisition of Andy Tudor on rhythm guitar, Chris Lorenzen on bass and after a process of auditions and fill in's, Jesse Stern on lead guitar. With the outfit complete the guys of Pictures in Pieces set out to make sure that each song convey a sense of honesty and their passion for the music. At the same time they wanted to stray from the cliche sounds that litter today's music scene. Equipped with catchy, driving hooks and rhythmic precision way beyond their time, Pictures In Pieces hope to finally bring quality to the forefront.
