Practically Single is a pop-punk/alternative band from Knox Pa. Practically Single started in October of 2002, when Bill Janes got a job working at Weaver's Pizza. Brett Weaver's parents owned the restaurant, so the two started hanging out during and after work. Janes and Weaver began writing songs and playing them for friends and family.
Eventually, when they would play at social events, people started to request certain songs. Then the idea of recording an album came about, but they needed to recruit a drummer and a bass player to do so. The pair talked to Zach Vucic and Bryan Teeters who were both very skilled musicians playing in a band called Single Stroke 4. Vucic and Teeters were not that happy in their current cover band so they decided to give it a shot. Everyone clicked almost instantly.
In November 2005, Practically Single decided to add a second guitar player. They picked up a good friend from Sharon, Pennsylvania, by the name of Cory George. Recently they have been recording their third album in New York City at Water Music Studios. With the help of thier producer, Nik Tyler, the band is evolving and growing into a sound of its own.
