Biography

--Born 1981 in Jalisco, Mexico --Raised in Northwest Indiana --Performances at "Soprano's" nightclub, "Satches" nightclub, 5th annual "Bike Fest", and Paign Family Productions concert. This is the 1st album by The Prophet and it is locked and loaded with 19 mind-altering tracks. He is a Hip Hop artist from Northwest Indiana, a long way from his birthplace in Mexico. His parents snuck over the border illegally in search of a better life. They wanted it so desperately that they snuck over with nothing but the clothes on their back and baby Prophet in their arms. They headed towards Chicago where they had family members who offered a place to stay. Intimidation and threats by gangs forced them to move to Northwest Indiana. His parents became workaholics to get themseves out of the slums. With his parents always working, he raised himself for the most part on a road to destruction. He began associating with the same people that intimidated and threatened his family's existence before. The turning point in The Prophet's life became when he was in a near fatal car accident in 2001. A millimeter away from being paralyzed, he saw the light at the end of the tunnel. He wanted to pursue his lifelong dream and what many said he would fail at, making Hip Hop music. His parents' setabacks, struggles, and dedication have become the inspiration and motivation that drives his music to unveil life's truths. "Indy 420" is jam packed with the joys, pains, and harsh realities in life.
